fruit sticker mug
made by my hands for yours x
all the items that i use the most are covered in a jumbled, ever expanding collection of fruit stickers. my water bottle, the back of my phone case, the steering wheel of my car, are all stamped by the vibrant reminder of filling my belly with ripe fruit. in my life, an item well loved is one collaged with produce stickers.
a mug is an object i use and savour everyday. like a piece of fruit, it’s ingrained in my daily ritual, so i thought it would be fitting to decorate these mugs in a collection of fruit stickers. like, hey, enjoy this warm drink, but also remember to eat a piece of fruit today please x
i have left the outside of the mug unglazed, its organic clay texture mimicking the textured skin of a piece of fruit in your hands:)
