Acrylic on wooden board
40cm x 30cm
I love a little trinket.
A tiny teaspoon, one of those beetles cast in a cube of resin, anything shaped like a horse, or even better, a dog.
But the best trinket yet, my most prized possession - an old matchbox. The kind that advertise motels that were run into the ground decades ago, or display tigers jumping through flaming hoops in faded primary colours.
This piece is inspired by the matchboxes I’ve found and collected over the years.
